Hello again!

Hello again!

Many folks who have followed my online presence over the years may recall that I once maintained a blog and collection of resources as part of the Highland HomePage. After a series of changes of webhosts, as well as a change in the underlying architecture for my huge genealogy database, I discontinued blogging. Well, I’m back!!!

Unfortunately due to all the transitions among host providers, I was unable to save or retrieve several years of postings (thanks especially to Google”s deprecated web service). If I could find those postings in Internet Archives or elswhere, I would recreate them here, just to create some continuity But that does not seem likely.

Oh, well… Here’s to fresh starts in life!

This gateway/blog accompaniment to my ongoing database expansions will be a “work in progress” as I establish smooth links, background pages, and a “how-to” guide for using the data creatively. So — stay tuned.

  1. Just saw your post on highland home page, I was interested in the page on William Isaac Hatton.
My name was not on it.
I was his daughter born to William Issac Hatton in 1945.
Also my sister Margaret Hatton was not listed either. She has passed away but a am still living. I would like to talk with you via phone.

    1. Sorry to delay so much in replying. I hold to a firm policy of not using direct phone communications, for several personal and security reasons. However, I welcome private e-mail exchanges to deal with questions, corrections, submissions of supplemental family data. You may use the e-mail link in the footer of any page on the database if appropriate. Or the “Suggest” tab on all individual or family records will enable you to send info that that I can identify as specific to that individual or family
